– What is it?
You refine workpieces, components, and constructions with specific coatings, giving them design, protection, conductivity, hardness, or insulation. The work is as diverse as the coatings you use.
Your tasks will range from chrome-plating, gilding, or galvanizing objects to dealing with chemical processes and effects.

– What You Need to Know
You should be a team player and reliable, have an interest in chemical and physical processes, not be intimidated by mathematics, and enjoy physical and manual work. To pursue an EFZ apprenticeship, you need to have completed secondary school at level A or an equivalent qualification.
